Is this a reference to "rusty pipe syndrome"? If so, see 
<http://www.indianpediatrics.net/aug2001/aug-931-932.htm>. I know 
this, as well as other discussion of colorful colostrum, has been 
discussed on Lactnet previously. If memory serves, there was one such 
discussion within the last year.
