Hi all,

I'm sorry to post to this list but you are all I got!

The head of our anes dept. is trying to say that we should not be giving
demerol or other narcotics IV because we are not all ACLS certified.  We
have been giving IV medication in labor for years.  (not that I am in
favor of all the medication we give, but  I would hate to see this taken
away from women as an option.

How is it at your place?
