it is possible, but on the part of the feeding specialist it sounds more
like a case of "when all  you have is a hammer, everything you see is a
nail".   I don't think the laryngomalacia and tracheomalacia sound
incorrect, but do you really think you could have missed a suck that
sounds so off by the description of the other involved professional?  I
mean, anything is possible, but this baby is gaining about and ounce per
day......poor suck?

and the feeding specialist said the baby was initially sleeping a 5h
stretch at night which is not consistent wtih a baby constantly nursing
b/c they're suckling ineffectively.   5h is a long time.  My oldest
didn't make it 5h until she was four;)  LOL.
