There are good resources out there - we know it!  It's such a shame that
ones who really need to know - before advising a mom- don't read  it.  I
can't imagine being an OB or CNM and not having my own copy of Briggs,
Freeman and
Yaffe or an HCP who takes care of women and babies and not have a Hale!

Had a 4 mo old in yesterday with RSV and couldn't keep down formula.  Mom
stopped nursing 2 weeks ago because she needed antibiotics and dr told her
not to  nurse!  After the interpreter and I figured out she was still
leaking, we encouraged her to try nursing. I felt so sad for this young 1st
time mom that I had just met.  Sincerely, Pat in SNJ
