Renee Hefti in Canada has asked me to post this to Lactnet. This Canada-wide webinar is a major Code violation and one we certainly can do without. Anyone that can help is asked to chime in and write a short letter.

Abbott Formula Company is planning a Canada-wide webcast on January 18, 2012 that violates the 1981 WHO Code of Marketing of Breastmilk Substitutes and the Codes more recent resolutions.
 
Lactnet's many letters helped stop a Canadian (Nestle) event in 2008.  With your help we can do it again.
 
Please ask Abbott to stop this event immediately. Letters can be very short.  Abbott has already received letters explaining how this webcast violates the WHO Code.
