Hi everyone,
I'm not sure I want to wade into this discussion, but as someone who's hardly an expert on the Code here's what I see as the problem with giving certain pump companies (such as Medela) a pass:  if we say it's o.k. for them to market whatever product in violation of the Code, we're giving them an unfair advantage in the marketplace.  And ample justification for every other company out there to say, "If they're not Code-compliant then I can't be either, or I'll be out of business".

So bottom line, if they're not complying with the Code, they're contributing to the undermining of breastfeeding.
