May I suggest she re-order her priorities?  She can continue to breastfeed
her child and either (1) not go to school for a year or two or (2) continue
to go to school, but merely pay for it herself.

There is no guarantee that if she weans her voice will return to its
"scholarship" quality, as the changes in her voice may have nothing
whatsoever to do with pregnancy and breastfeeding.  What is certain is that
her child's health will suffer if she weans.
