Rachel,
Rather than just having been being breastfed, we might want to take a look at
the weaning process and how that affects trust and other related issues.  I
can imagine that a child who is abrubtly weaned per the cultural constraints
would have a very different experience of is or her breastfeeding
relationship than would a child weaned gradually or at his/her own pace.  Do
you have any wonderful ideas to share on this one Kathy D?
