WBW 99 SLOGAN

        The theme for World Breastfeeding Week 1999 on education
        will look into formal and non-formal education systems. It
        will include all audiences concerned, from pre-school right
        up to tertiary and professional institutions and
        communities. The theme will also look into curricula
        development, teaching methods, visual aids and various forms
        of information technology to help communicate lessons
        and messages on breastfeeding.

        The following slogans are suggestions from the WABA
        Steering Committee.

        1.   BREASTFEEDING: LEARNING ABOUT LIFE
        2.   BREASTFEEDING: A SMART MOVE
        3.   BREASTFEEDING: EDUCATION FOR LIFE

        Let us know your preference and if you have any
        suggestions or slogans to share, write to us right now!

        DEADLINE:  29 JULY 1997

        We would like to decide on one slogan and share it with
        everybody by 1 August, at the start of the WABA World
        Breastfeeding Week celebrations.
