Lab Tech - Donor Milk Processing
Mothers' Milk Bank Northeast – Newton, MA
Organization: Mothers’ Milk Bank Northeast is a small, growing non-profit organization, providing pasteurized donor human milk for premature babies throughout the east coast. This is an opportunity for a bright, energetic, motivated person to work in a new organization.

Responsibilities: We are looking for a lab tech who will prepare and clean up lab and equipment, pasteurize donor milk, log incoming milk, keep track of supplies, enter pasteurization and log in data into database. 
Requirements: Applicant should be: well organized and detail oriented; able to perform multi-step processes, including detailed record keeping; comfortable talking about breastfeeding and handling human milk; able to lift and carry up to 20 pounds. Lab experience a plus, but can be trained.

Location: Newton, MA

Time: 30+ hours/week, hours somewhat flexible.

Compensation: $14-$16/hour based on experience.
