Not to get too far afield, but I was curious about this too. While I control my various autoimmune issues with diet (low salicylate), it is not making them go away. Neither mainstream medicine, nor alternative medicine has "cured" my conditions although acupuncture, massage, diet has helped. Instead, I seem to acquire more of them as time goes one. I had to educate my naturopath on her dietary recommendations for one of the conditions.
