The mammogram part of this question is not within the scope of my expertise,
but the libido part *might* be - I'd ask her whether the loss of libido
might be related to her birth experience - was it one that she perceived as
traumatic in any way?  Was surgery involved (c/sec or episiotomy)?  How was
she treated (physically and emotionally) during the birth?  Is there a
history of abuse for this mom?  etc.  Not all of these questions are ones
you (or she) can answer, but might provide some avenues to explore... I'm
assuming the intent of her question was whether it was hormonally-related,
and the answer is not necessarily.  How long ago did she stop nursing?

I haven't posted for a while but the last time I did you all saw the
html-coding or whatever the gobbeldy-gook after my signature.  I think I
fixed it, but apologize in advance if it appears again.  List moms, I'll
look for this post on the next digest, and if it shows up again I won't post
until I've tested the post somewhere else.
