I haven't heard the stronger let down with smaller breasts idea, but I hear
a lot about a stronger let down the more babies you have. In fact, I'd
subscribe to this one. With my first baby, I seldom felt the let down at
all (maybe once every couple of weeks) even though he was gaining very well.
With my sixth, the let down was totally overwhelming in strength in the
early weeks to the point that I'm dreading it with our little one due in
October. I find it interesting that afterpains also increase in strength
with more births and I'd be very interested in why -- there is a huge
discussion on a list for large families I'm on about how to mitigate
afterpains.
