Hi, everybody!
Sorry I haven't introduced myself properly before, but I really need you
help right now.
A mother that assists to our LLL meetings, gave birth via c-sec to a boy two
months ago.
A week ago she called me to say she felt really bad, that she was losing
vision
The situation deteriorated, and she lost balance and later couldn't walk, so
she was admitted to the hospital for a week.
She only breastfed her baby once during that time, but kept pumping every
4-5 hours.
They performed tomography and couldn't find evidence of tumors or clots or
hemorrhage in the brain. Apparently they think, a clot passed through her
cerebellum, and that caused the neurological symptoms
She is still wobbly and just arrived from the hospital.
She called me to ask about the medications they prescribed
Plavix (bisulfato de clopidogrel)
vontrol (Clorhidrato de difenidol)
pantozol (pantoprazol)
I checked on my Hale, and the Plavix has a L4 risk.
This have been a terrible thing for her, as she's not breastfeeding her
infant because this risk, and I would like to know if somebody can tell me
experience with this medication, and if she really can't breastfeed her boy

Please respond as soon as possible, thank you very much for you help and
attention
