It is a challenge. Here's one spin/selling point:
my comment to this "being used for a pacifier" complaint by a new mom is
along the lines of, ie;

"now that is a smart baby! she is trying to ensure that she is gets plenty of
colostrum breastmilk now *and* she already knows how to stimulate an ample
milk supply as quickly as possible! you'll have more milk sooner rather than
later" .....then look lovingly at the baby, talk to the baby pointing out
some good physical feature and tell her what a smart babygirl she is.

I routinely f/u with latch assessment & teaching breast massage and
compression etc.

Your town is so lucky to have you. Just curious: To what do you attibute your
wonderful knowledge of Bf? .....Personal experience/research, or, medical
school?
