This is a frequent problem of excesive generalization. Even if, let's say,
80% of babies took 80% of milk in 10 minutes (fictitious figures), there
are still a 20% of babies and a 20% of milk left...That some babies are
still eating, and not playing, well past 10 minutes, was proven by
Howie et al. How long should a breast feed last? Early Hum Develop

That you should always let the baby finish the first one before offering
the second one was proven by:
Woolridge MW, Fisher C. Colic, "overfeeding" and symptoms of lactose
malabsorption in the breast/fed baby: a possible artifact of feed
