The "best pump" may not be the best pump for every mother.  As Marie has
suggested, hand expression might work best for this mom.  Another pump,
perhaps a Nurture III, might work better.  Some moms do better with
flexible shield either as the basic pump or as inserts in a more
traditional pump kit.

Of course, don't forget all the relaxation techniques--shoulder rubs,
deep breathing, looking at baby or picture of baby, etc.
