It seems one of the concerns should be the number of hospital RNs who sit for the exam, and really don't care about BF? Didn't BF their own kids, really don't think it's important, love the ABM reps, etc?

That might be an applaudable goal, but it will weed the nice plants with the unwanted out of the garden. It is like weeding with a mega shovel.
I do recognise the fear for a growing cohort of <hospital RNs who sit for the exam, and really don't care about BF? Didn't BF their own kids, really don't think it's important, love the ABM reps, etc> and I see them around in my corner of the world, too. It is frightfull to see how they devaluate the profession and I'd indeed like to have a way to avoid having LCs like that. But I think, like in healthy breastfeeding, preventing is better than curing. Meaning that examination should rule out those candidates, testing should include attitudes and ethics.
