*By the way, I spoke to the LC quoted  at the start of the article and she
told me she was mortified. She was taken out of context and is considering
writing a letter of complaint also.
 Newspapers like to "think" that they are read beyond the cities in which
they are published. Please don't let geography deter you from responding. I
have made this a general post to urge other lactnetters to write or E-mail
the daily News too. The more responses the better! The Daily News needs to
know that a) the information was not accurate (Most women do not suffer
dreadful pain while breastfeeding)     b) the scare tactics of this kind is
a disservice to the readership which, one would assume, the Daily News
would like to achieve optimal health. One would conclude from this article
that breastfeeding is dangerous to mothers, so they should use Abm for
infant feeding.
