Hola Lactnetters! This question did not come as a surprise to me, but
bothered me. I recently bought a hospital grade double pump and donated
half of my office to be a lactation station at work. This place has been
advertised as a place for women to come and pump when they come back to
work and want to pump and take their expressed milk home. An employee
called me today and said she had been to a breastfeeding class at the
hospital where she plans to deliver and she was told that you should never
share pumps. The LC told her to buy her own (which she sells).

Please, will anybody and everybody tell me what you know about this? I
know the State of Texas (where I live) Dept. of Health has recommended this
practice and promotes "pumping stations" at their own worksites.

Thanks,libby in el Paso
