My biggest concern about the recent ABC reports on milk sharing was that
they were presented strictly as reporting on "the risks of using another
mom's milk".  The correction earlier this week while it did clarify some
points, still implied that the only reason a mom would want donated milk is
because she has been "pressured to breastfeed".  What was completely ignored
were the risks of formula feeding and the desire of moms to provide the best
for their babies because they themselves believed breastmilk to be superior,
not because of "pressures".
