I think part of what's happening is an increased awareness that infants
aren't "allergic to their mothers' milk" and have to quit nursing but are
instead allergic to amino acid fragments from something mom ate.

This increased awareness and the hunt for the culprits is keeping a lot more
moms breastfeeding because they usually can solve the problem with dairy
elimination and even in unusual situations something can be done to preserve
breastfeeding.
