If you join the site, you'll get notice of events like a webinar yesterday
with Joe Witte and other skilled communicators. The one-hour session is
archived on their site. One general piece of advice I took away is to start
with what's clearly known - like documented sea-level rise and increases in
extreme precipitation - and to say that we can expect to see more of this
kind of event.

Reporting about tobacco and health used to focus on the unknowns, too.
Let's hope we shift climate communications rapidly in the same way tobacco
communications finally changed - to what we do know, and the overriding
need to act.
