Polarizing filters with bifringent plastic films could be fun with an
overhead.  I know scotch tape and clear mylar are both bifringent.  The
mylar would give you cool colors with out being sticky.  Or maybe you might
want to have visitors add small pieces of tape to a surface and watch it
change.
