I agree with Ian, music or even ambient sounds would add so much.  Also, did you consider any sort of "ripple" tank?  Did I miss that in the video?  The shadows & light cast through or off a liquid is very hypnotic.  

Back to Ian's thoughts on background sound...Has anyone been making use of all this great sound and audio technology to get past the dreaded looping attract tune?  I think the Try Science Kiosks are incredible, but that ten second attract tune made us INSANE!  It seems to me that in this day of I-Pods and MP3 technology we out to be able to have an hour or more of music or sound to loop and thus cast a small mercy on our floor staffs.  The biggest issue I see is license or royalty issues for using someone's tunes in full.
