OK..so last night after I sent my message I did some more searching  
and got close, then got up this morning and find Jeff and Remy  
pointing me further in the right direction. What I want to do is  
display zipcode data on a map from recent visitors and/or members.  
Pretty simple. This site makes it REALLY simple:

http://www.batchgeocode.com/

Step 1: make sure your data is in tab delimited format, Step 2: copy  
and paste into the page and click the button.

That's pretty much it. You will be presented with a Yahoo map  
displaying your data along with a button to download the results in a  
Google KML file which is easily opened inside Google Earth. You can  
also grab the embed code and display the map on your own Web page if  
you like. Sheesh! It doesn't get much easier! Works for US and Canada  
as well as a number of European countries.
