Science Discovery, a K-12 STEM education outreach program at the University of Colorado, Boulder, invites applications for a full-time Program Director for Informal Science Education. The Program Director collaborates with the Science Discovery Director, Community Programs Manager, CU faculty, and numerous STEM graduate and undergraduate students to develop, implement, and evaluate innovative science education outreach programs that are delivered to K-12 students during out-of-school time. Science Discovery's Informal Science Education programs include a substantial summer class program that offers more than 200 week-long summer science camps annually, as well as after-school and weekend programming. This position oversees the integration of CU undergraduate and graduate students in the development and delivery of Science Discovery programs and is responsible for recruiting, training and supporting university students working in informal science education programs.
