Jennifer,
The Bishop Museum has produced a starlab show called "Explorers of Polynesia" which is about how the ancient Polynesians used the stars to navigate to Hawaii. During the show the audience uses their hands as a tool to navigate using the stars. Math can be easily incorporated. We also have about 10 other starlab shows that we do. If you'd like more information, please contact me.

Well, we do a typical "Tonight's Sky" program that changes with the seasons. This program just focuses on the North Star and other constellations that are easily seen in the sky. This way the visitors can find them that night (if it's not cloudy). We also tell stories of the different Greek myths. Another program we have done is about the changing of the seasons and what you see versus what Australia sees during this time of the year. We go inside and pretty much do the same thing.

I would like to do a navigation type of program that includes more math. We are just interested in what others are doing to gain ideas.

Thanks,
Jennifer
