Hello All Outreach Managers/Educators-
I would like your feedback on your Outreach programs. I have just launched the Outreach program for the CT Science Center in January 2010. I have approx. 16 in class workshops, 7 activity stations & 2 assembly shows which I've developed our the past 3-4 months. The Science Center I work for has approx. 40,000 sq. ft. exhibit space.
Some Questions for comparable sized Science Centers & Museums:
How long do you spend creating workshops & assemblies?
How long did you have to develop your outreach programs before you officially launched your program?
How many Full time/ Part time Educators do you on staff?
How many outreach vehicles do you have available for use?
Did you make a profit in year 1?
What is your most effective marketing tool? Market- schools, scouts, libraries?
Please respond to my email below. Thank you in advance for your help!
