ISEN-ASTC-L is a service of the Association of Science-Technology Centers
Incorporated, a worldwide network of science museums and related institutions.

A brand new science TV show is coming to PBS: a STEM show for-and
about-tween girls! SciGirls will spotlight real girls using science to
make a difference.

Whether it's investigating the safety of drinking water in a rural
community; engineering "green" products for their friends and family; or
helping migratory animals reach their destination safely, girls can use
science, technology, engineering, and mathematics to accomplish
meaningful tasks. That is what SciGirls is all about. Each SciGirls
episode will follow a group of girls and their inquiry-based project,
highlighting the great things that happen when girls are inspired, and
empowered, by science.

Twin Cities Public Television is currently looking for projects to
feature on the SciGirls website, which will be hosted on pbskids.org-one
of the premier destinations for kids on the web. If your institution is
sponsoring an interesting class, camp, or ongoing program for tween
girls, we'd like to feature a web video about it. For more details,
please visit:

Thanks!
