ISEN-ASTC-L is a service of the Association of Science-Technology Centers
Incorporated, a worldwide network of science museums and related institutions.

Hello, all:
Do any of you have a wireless (802.11x) infrastructure in your museum?
If so, do you have it throughout the museum, or in specific areas? If
not, do you know any museums that do? By next year, we will have 802.11
coverage in all of our exhibition galleries, so I am curious about any
programming that people have done with untethered computers. The access
points are scalable through software, so we can keep up with evolving
standards. I gather people are streaming video over 802.11x technology,
but I haven't seen it done.
Anyway, I would like to hear about current, planned, or imagined
possibilities...
