TELUS World of Science - Edmonton, one of Canada's fastest growing science centres, is seeking a dynamic, creative and self-motivated individual to lead our School Programs team.  Today, more than 160,000 students participate in our school programs annually and our Director, School Programs is responsible to lead the planning, development, delivery and evaluation of our science curriculum based school programs to ensure we continue to support learning objectives within our formal education systems for Alberta and other jurisdictions.

Our Director, School Programs is an enthusiastic team player with excellent leadership skills and a dynamic and innovative teacher who posses superior written and verbal communication skills.  You have thorough knowledge of the Alberta and Pan-Canadian science, mathematics and technology curriculums.  You are a forward-thinking individual and have the skills necessary to lead our School Programs in the development of new initiatives in the formal education area.  

 

Qualifications:  

*	Bachelor of Education with specialization in Science
*	Permanent Teaching Certification or able to qualify for one
*	Minimum two years management experience
