ISEN-ASTC-L is a service of the Association of Science-Technology Centers
Incorporated, a worldwide network of science museums and related institutions.

A very simple way for visitors to create great effects is by having
them project the reflected light of a small piece of 'plastic'
mirror, moving and bending the mirror. You have to turn the light
source in the opposite direction towards the mirror. Cut some
squares or lines into the mirror, even better. I spent hours playing
to music when I prototyped this exhibit. It's like dancing.

Other interesting materials that make great shadows are semi
transparent candy wrappings, chocolate packing materials etc.

Have fun!

Hanna
