Hello, Robert.

We have spoken briefly before. As the Outreach Programs Coordinator
at Explorit Science Center, a focus of my work is creating culturally
and linguistically accessible programs.

Our science center is located in Davis. Our programs serve a
culturally diverse audience, primarily Latino, Hmong, and Russian,
throughout the Sacramento region. One of our outreach programs is an
evening family event called Health in Your World that focuses on the
science of health, the human body, and the environment.

I would appreciate the opportunity to meet with you to learn more
about Celebra La Ciencia. I am particularly interested in hearing the
specific ways that your project engages Spanish-speaking children and
families. I would be happy to tell you about Explorit's outreach
programs and share resources we have developed to better serve
English learners.

Are there any specific times that you are available? Perhaps we could
meet for coffee sometime during the conference.

With regards,
Gwen
