ISEN-ASTC-L is a service of the Association of Science-Technology Centers
Incorporated, a worldwide network of science museums and related institutions.

The SD School of Mines & Technology opened The Children's Science Center in
Rapid City, SD in the late 90's. They closed in, I think, 2003. The
University already had a long-standing paleontology musuem, then the
Children's Science Center, and they took on a major role in funding and
managing The Journey Museum (Blacks Hills history). In the budget wars, the
science center lost out.
