Do you have any particular types of behavior change in mind?
You may have already looked in to Social Marketing, there's been work done in that area that might be interesting for you. The gist is to use aspects of marketing strategy to influence individual behaviors to some specific end, much like regular marketing is trying to modify your behavior (i.e. buy their product).
You might also look in to Motivational Interviewing, more of a one-to-one interaction model for facilitating behavior change.
Both of these are used in a wide range of topic areas, but both have been used in environmental education as well.

Greetings All,
I am in the process of planning a Science and Sustainability Family Science Night. One of out top goals is to promote pro-environmental behavior change.
As I look through the literature I am seeing very little reference to research or evaluation done on this topic. In fact the only journal article referencing this based on Disney's Conservation Station within Animal Kingdom. Perhaps I am not looking in the right place, or with an appropriate search term, so I am hoping to get some help from you all. I know proving that change happened based on a one-time experience is difficult, but does that mean no one is trying this?
Have you done programming focused on pro-environmental behavior change? I'd love to hear about your experiences, thoughts or perspectives on this idea.
