as a follow-up to my earlier question about plate tectonics activities:

For anyone in the NYC metro area -- who have you had luck with for
projects which use Macromedia Flash, or other computer-based,
graphically intensive methods, to make educational interactives? Not
necessarily for the web, but for computer kiosks or stand-alone
stations.

For example, a Java or Flash demo where you can vary the amount of ice
on Earth and see how it affects the ocean level, or one which would show
plate motions centered on a particular region. A simple version of the
maps at http://www.odsn.de/odsn/services/paleomap/paleomap.html is the
sort of thing I have in mind.
