Hi, all -

We are considering replacing the hard floor tiles in our public galleries with another kind of flooring, primarily to cut back on acoustics and the "echo-effect" throughout our museum. We've considered carpeting (any major issues we should be aware of with that?), but are investigating some of the other materials available out there, as well (rubber, etc.)

What kinds of flooring are found in your science centers and museums? Have they been successful, both in terms of functionality and maintenance?

Any recommendations or info would be much appreciated.

Cheers,
Jason
