I am very interested in knowing if any of your organizations are
currently using, or are planning to use, video-conferencing capabilities
for any educational purpose--either on your exhibition floor or as a
format for outreach programs or activities.

I will be working with the Association of College Educators of the Deaf
and Hard of Hearing (ACE-D/HH) as an advisor to a grant to facilitate
instruction for master teachers. Science education is a real issue for
the community of deaf and hard-of-hearing students. Video-conferencing
is one technique for increasing their access to educational resources.

I would greatly appreciate it if those of you interested in a dialogue
regarding the use of video-conferencing would respond to the list,
or--if you prefer--contact me directly. Thank you.

Hi

In the last year since the Columbia accident, our museum has been
focusing
on space and space related topics. Soon, we are opening a center for
astrophysics in memory of Col. Ilan Ramon, the first Israeli astronaut.
This
center will be a big project that will keep us occupied for several
years to
come.

Meanwhile, I need to set up, almost in real time, a small exhibition and
educational center for astrophysics.

I'm looking for shelf products, exhibits, on topics of astronomy and
astrophysics.

recommendations.....

Thank you in advance for all your help.

Tal
