As part of Human +, a traveling exhibition NYSCI is creating with OMSI in Oregon, a programmer named John Shimmel created a 4square like web-based app for accessibility. You can find out more at www.accesstogether.org. It has a simple interface for recording accessibility in various categories in public spaces wherever you travel. So far, Chelsea, a westside neighborhood in NYC has had a fair amount of contributors, as has Winnipeg in Canada (?!). So download it and contribute if you can. Please share widely. the more it is used, the more useful it will be!
