I was going to say Scully, too, and seek support for my theory that Scully and Mulder are really drawn from Scooby-doo. Scully is a hybrid of Daphne (gorgeous) and Velma (brainy). Mulder is a blend of Shaggy (goofy & scruffy) and Freddy (cute). Isn't it obvious?

Also, if you want a truly ridiculous example of the hot science babe, read Dan Brown's "Angels and Demons." The female lead is some sort of physicist who conveniently studies marine biology, so she is scantily attired enough to offend the Swiss Guards at the Vatican when she is suddenly pulled away from her research project. There's also a great scene at the end where the hero parachutes to safety from an airplane by hanging onto a tablecloth!? I hope they make it into a movie. I think Leslie Nielsen should be the star!

We were discussing this thread at lunch today here at
ScienceWorks...
We decided Scully from the X-files was our favorite. Ever
skepitcal, always searching for the data needed to support the
hypotheses. Very scientific...
