ISEN-ASTC-L is a service of the Association of Science-Technology Centers
Incorporated, a worldwide network of science museums and related institutions.

Should you find yourself at Snug Harbor on the 3rd Sunday of the month,
starting at 2pm, you'll find a salty gathering of sea shanty singers
adding to the cultural milieu, co-sponsored by Snug Harbor and the Folk
Society of NY.

It is a short bus ride from the ferry. Of course I'm always promoting the children's museum but the botanical gardens, maritime museum, etc., make for a really nice afternoon. And plan your return ferry ride for sunset and the boat ride becomes magical.
