A short story from the frontlines of museum soundtrack purgatory. In my
early days at Pacific Science in Seattle we hosted a small but wonderful
exhibit about the human hand.  The DREADED sound track was several different
instrumental versions of "He's Got The Whole World In His Hands".  The
original developers made an attempt at sparing the staff by using several
versions of the song but it was even more insidious because as soon as you
tuned out the "Kenny G" version a jazz guitar or string quartet version
would kick-in and drive you nuts all over again.
