MAKE SUMMER MAKE CENTS FOR WILDLIFE!
www.penniesfortheplanet.org

Looking for a meaningful project to help kids learn about the environment this summer - and make a difference for conservation too?

This past spring, Pennies for the Planet engaged thousands of kids from schools across the country in conservation projects and learning. Now we are inviting summer programs and camps and other informal learning programs like yours to get involved! Check it out at www.penniesfortheplanet.org.

Pennies for the Planet, part of the National Audubon Society's TogetherGreen initiative, motivates kids ages 7 to 12 to get involved in conservation locally, to learn more about threatened species and habitat, and to raise money to support three critical national conservation programs:

* Project Puffin and the Seabird Restoration Project off the Maine coast
* Four Holes Swamp/Francis Beidler Forest in South Carolina, and
* Wyoming's sagebrush "sea"

Participating children and groups are eligible for prizes!

Please contact Pennies for the Planet at [log in to unmask] or call us at (212) 979 - 3072 if you are interested in receiving some free and specially tailored materials for summer programs. These materials include:

        * Make a nature journal
        * Make your own penny jar label
        * Outside senses
        * Be a friend to birds
        * Word searches

There are also many materials available for download or you can contact us and request a free Pennies for the Planet educator's kit with the aforementioned supplements.

When you contact us, please kindly supply your mailing address, how you heard about Pennies for the Planet, and your program.

Pennies for the Planet is made possible by support from TogetherGreen, an Audubon initiative in alliance with Toyota. Thanks to Toyota's generous sponsorship of this program, every penny raised by kids will go directly to on-the-ground conservation in these places.
