Subject: Parent-Child Interactions in Informal Learning Settings

Hello everyone,
I'm working on my thesis paper for my museology degree at UW. I'm
researching parent-child interactions and how to encourage more
parental facilitation. My work is for informal learning settings in
general, but I'm focusing on science museums/centers. (Additionally,
I'm also interested in how this might relate to visitor motivations or
"identities", to use Falk's terminology.)

I was hoping that some people here might have some information about
the subject, such as studies or examples from your own institutions.
And if you are directly working on this subject, I'd be interested in
speaking.

Thank you all so much and enjoy the rest of your weekend,

Ari Einbinder

Master's Candidate, University of Washington, Museology
