Hi everyone, 
Apologies for cross-postings. 
Questacon is developing an exhibit on refractive indices. 
Visitors lower different types of glass into glycerol and see that some of them disappear. 
We would like a lowering mechanism that is quick enough to hold our visitors' attention but doesn't cause bubbles which destroy the effect.

Has anyone got any ideas?
