Hi Louise

Jeff made some great suggestions. Here's a few more points that come to
mind from my days on the road with exhibits...

-Truck loading diagrams
-Complete inventory list
-Electrical diagrams for any custom electronics (may seem obvious, but
you'd be surprised...)
-Some venues like to have an updated maintenance log as part of their
manual package, so they can anticipate any trouble spots
-As part of the education manual, a section on how the exhibit works may
be helpful. Sometimes people are more interested in the technology
behind an exhibit than they are in the actual subject matter. It's
helpful for floor educators to have this info.

Just remember the manual will be a work in progress, especially during
the exhibit's first few venues. There's a lot more that I'm probably
forgetting here. Feel free to contact me off-list of you'd like to
chat.

Hi everyone. We are new to the traveling exhibits arena and are
preparing our operations/installation guide and education manuals for
our new exhibit. Does anyone have examples of what they include with
their manuals to help us insure we are including all the information we
need?

Thank you so much for any assistance.
