As it is already mid-June I am writing to remind all SHA members
that the deadline (June 30th) for taking the initial step in making
nominations for the John L. Cotter Award for this year is fast
approaching. The award will be presented at the January 2002 SHA
annual meeting in Mobile, Alabama.

Please see the last SHA Newsletter (Spring 2001 Volume 34, Number 1,
p. 8) for instructions and the nomination form.
