Hello Ron and all,

Ron wrote} The Chumash are still alive

jb} I've spoken to dozens of the current "Chumash" and they all say .. they're just mixed ..
there are no pure Chumash

Ron wrote} They do not speak Greek

jb} Didn't say they did! The Chumash are of Greek origin .. or some might say that the Greek
are Chumash.

Either way .. the Greek gods are Chumash gods.

Ron wrote} they did not have a native pottery-making tradition.

jb} Didn't say they did! But they {the long gone Chumash} left a wealth of story tradition, and
rock art that is now housed {and near inaccessible} behind wire fence.
