Friends,

Just a reminder ...

The 2006 Midwest Archaeological Conference will be held this year in
Illinois' version of the twin cities, Champaign-Urbana, from 12-15
October. As a member of one of the sponsoring organizations, I am
hoping that many of you will take this opportunity to share your
research.

Please note that the DEADLINE for paper abstracts is coming up
quickly: 15 August 2006

All conference information can be found at the following link:

http://www.midwestarchaeology.org/meetings.htm

Thanks in advance.

"There is also an artificial aristocracy founded on wealth and birth,
without either virtue or talents ... The artificial aristocracy is a
mischievous ingredient in government, and provisions should be made to
prevent its ascendancy."

- Thomas Jefferson (1743-1826)
